ICS participated at the Researchers' night held on 23 September in the main square of Trieste, Piazza Unità. The event is Europe-wide and brings together the general public and researchers. This year it took place in 320 European cities in 32 countries.read more

Further to the meeting held by the UNIDO Director-General with the Sri Lankan Minister of Technology and Research in April 2010, the Government of Sri Lanka requested UNIDO's support to establish a Nanoscience Park, as envisaged by the National Nanotechnology Initiative launched in 2007 by H.E. Next Generation Biofuels for Africa
ICS-UNIDO is currently finalising with the African Union Commission a collaborative project (estimated Euro 20 Mil) on the development of Next Generation Biofuels and Biorefinery, to be submitted before the end of the year to the ACP Secretariat in Brussels, for endorsement and subsequent funding by the European Commission.read more
