Training Course in Praia, Cape Verde
The Regional Centre for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency (ECREEE), in collaboration with ICS, held a Training Course on Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to Map Quality Infrastructures and Services at Country Level in the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) from 28 November to 2 December, 2011 in Praia, Cape Verde. The aim was to develop capacities for GIS mapping of renewable energy resources in West Africa, as a preliminary step to the establishment of the ECOWAS Renewable Energy Observatory, to support decision-making and promote investments in the energy sector. read more
